Hello,
Have been using Linux Mint for several months now having converted from Windows. Very happy with the change, now have L Mint on 2 computers. The most notable improvement has been ease of installing updates. The system always works, and you can see clearly what's happening. Difficulty with updating to W10 v.1709 was the catalyst to my conversion.

Greetings and welcome!
I think Microsoft have been having a lot of problems lately with buggy updates; I know my partner complains all the time that her Windows 10 laptop isn't working properly. I just smile and continue to use my Linux Mint machine.

Tried Win10 before coming back to Mint, found that 10 updates could literally freeze the machine until complete, not good. Mint just rocks
