HP 4520 (4525) printing blank

Post by XP-refugee »

Hi All.
WHen I try to print from my LM laptop, the pages come out blank.
I successfully printed a test page in full color and B&W following the instructions here:
https://easylinuxtipsproject.blogspot.c ... s.html#ID2

But still printing my odt document blank.

My skill level is: Moderate Cookbook Following Ability
If you don't tell me to gut the duck before I put it in the oven there is a fair chance of me cooking an ungutted duck.
But I do know enough to make sure it is dead and plucked before cooking it.

I'm hoping to discover how to print reliably from LM. Currently, with the long stream of problems around printing I've had, I am unable to recommend Linux to people who need to get away from Windows and still be able to reliably print.

Information about the printer is a bit sparse. Would you confirm it is an ENVY 4520 and give the output of

Code: Select all

lpinfo -v
saying whether you are using a USB or network connection?
