i can run warcraft 3 on my desktop while compiz is running, but i must turn it off to get acceptable performance in quake 4 my hardware is a Core 2 Duo with 1GB ram and geforce 128mb 7300GS
so those games look possible, dont know how good the 6100 is though.

IMHO that card is way too slow for gaming. Also you can tell by the price tag. 600$ is too cheap IMHO for a serious gamer's laptop. Gamer laptops usually cost twice that much, as far as I know.
Also, the AMD CPU: Does it say "AMD 2000+" or something like that? Then the CPU's speed is at 1.5 GHz max. and not 2 GHz. Those "2000+" is marketing speak and means "Our AMD CPU is as fast as a comparable Intel CPU running at 2000 MHz = 2 GHz". Just so that you're warned and know what you are buying ...

is the exact link to the laptop i'm looking at. I dont plan on using it for serious gaming at all. Just to run linux, play star craft, quake 2, and mabe wolfenstien ET.
