Gnome Panel Applets Refuse to Lock
Although I lock down each applet in my gnome panel, they move around of their own free will anyway. Is this a glitch? Anyway to make the "lock" option actually work? TIA. (I tried to search for a solution, if any, as I'm sure others have had this problem...but the search engine gave me over 3,000 results, whew!)

Pewterbot9,
what do you mean with "they move around of their own free will anyway"?
You can move them even when you lock them into your panel or they are in different position every time you boot your system?

Even though I locked them, they are in a different position when I reboot.
Well, maybe not a different position each time, but definitely not in the positions they were when I locked 'em.
