Whats everyone currently listening to?

I just got Essential Billy Squier, and it's amazing how many songs of his I'm familiar with and never realized we're his.

Growing up, I never was someone who had gotten into music and bands and all that. I just listened to whatever was on the radio: easy listening stuff my parents listened to until about age 11, when my mom bought me a radio of my own in the theory that I should be able to choose my own music to listen to. So, that's when I started listening to 80s rock and pop music.

It wasn't until I was in high school that I started buying anything, and of course bring the age well before iTunes or Google (or the Internet, obviously) I had a heck of a time buying anything.

Therefore, to this day there are still occasional songs I bump into that I had no idea were written by X, Y, or Z.

The most recent example of this is with Queen. Because of the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, radio stations have put a number of Queen songs into rotation, and now I'm finding out they wrote several I'm familiar with, including the basis for MC Hammer's Can't Touch This.

I've been listening to this over and over and over again lol. my favorite part starts at 0:46. Nicolò T says it has 11 solos, 8 riffs (not counting harmonized parts). I've never counted, but it wouldn't surprise me!

Various Metal songs on my YouTube playlist. Some classic, some not. Yesterday it was bagpipe music by various bands. Randomly found a video set to "Sing Sing Sing with a Swing", which I thought was awesome since I haven't heard that song since I was a teenager. I do like Swing music, but I can't dance to it (or any music, for that matter. ).
