Linux Mint lost partition

hello,
lately, i had to resize my partition to install w*** on my computer as i needed temporarly functions of a software that has no real equivalent in the free world ...
i was dispointed to have to ,put a w**** on my computer but the worst is that now i can only boot on w*** when i press f12 and go to the boot option my linuxmint partition is not accesible ..
But if i boot with a live usb with linuxmint and go to the disk utility, this partition is present ...
is there a way to regain acces to this partition from boot menu ?

As i plan to delete the w*** partition in afew month when i Don't need it anymore …

so, from your Live usb stick - - can you find the program 'Disks - which should be found in the Accessories Group

then, from that program, it should now show your PCs current drive layout:
- grab an screen_shot of that & paste it back here, on your reply.
so, that we can then tell, just what has happened, on your machine.

If you installed windows after linux mint installation, then windows replaced linux' s grub bootloader. Windows bootloader doesn't support other from windows OS. So it's normal that you cannot access linux mint installation.
Use the live usb that you have, open a terminal and run the command "sudo grub-install /dev/sdX"(replace "X" with your disk letter, normally sda if you have only one disk). This will reinstall grub bootloader which will detect windows installation also.

I had to do the same thing and Boot Repair did the job to fix booting.
