Old Programmer Learning New Tricks

Post by 2hams »

Hello everyone. Just joining the Mint community.

I haven't done much since retiring from a software engineering position 10 years ago. It is going to be a learning curve with all these GUIs getting in the way.

I did some of my first Unix development on a PDP 11/70, worked on software that was migrated to over 50 versions and variants of Unix (including an early Linux), before moving on to a Solaris environment.

Looking forward to the journey.
