My sound has no problem when I play music files, but there is no sound with the videos. (Streaming videos from online)
On the Multimedia Systems Selector, I tried all of the selections and nothing. I got this message on a couple of them
Video for Linux 2 (v4l2): Cannot identify device '/dev/video0
I even selected everything in the Firefox trying to find something that would work, but nothing.
I'm using the Gloria version (x64).
I really like this version except for the video sound.
Thanks
I'm really getting beautiful pictures from the streaming video.
Video works but has no sound

Re: Video works but has no sound
If you go to Sound & Video; Pulse Audio VOlume Control: Playback (most left of the tabs);
start some video with sound; right click on the sound stream in playback; do you get an option to move stream? Do any of the selections help?

Re: Video works but has no sound
THANKS...........Your suggestion worked. With that I was able to try different things and found that it had my old sound card as the one (I have onboard sound and also a different sound card installed)
After I changed the selection to the onboard sound.............IT WORKED!!
So again....................THANKS!
