Hey,
I was trying to make a shortcut key to start conky. I followed some instructions and tried to use the keyboard shortcut maker in the menu. Unfortunately, I accidently bound delete key to something, and removed the binding but without gaining the original functionality of the delete key. This is kind of ridiculous but I can't figure out how to bind the delete key back to its original functionality. thanks for any help.

Nevermind, I restarted and it became fixed, sorry to bother.

I suspect this was due to the fact you need to reload the gconf settings (as you do for the menu button key change) which you can do by logging out.
