Dear All,
Can you pls help me to install stuffkeeper?
The project lives at:
https://github.com/DaveDavenport/stuffkeeper
I have run the following commands:
sudo apt-get install autoconf automake libtool intltool
sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-dev libgtk2.0-dev libglade2-dev libsqlite3-de
sudo apt-get install libunique-dev gob2 valac libgpgme11-dev
But I don't understand these steps:
Compiling:
==========
Release
-------
./configure <compile options>
make
make install
Git
---
./autogen.sh <compile options>
make
make install
Can some help me?
Thank you.

Dear All,
I keep looking for answers but still struggling. I don't know how to marry this link's information with my previous question.

Re: Installing stuffkeeper
Installing tar balls is known to make grown men cry occasionally..... Even if they don't enter dependency hell.
For what purpose do you need stuffkeeper, or in other words: have you already searched for an alternative application in the official repo's that does more or less the same things?

Re: Installing stuffkeeper
This was the only application I found like it. It allows me to create a DB for collectors that I can tailor myself. As I am not looking for the usual templates, such as music videos, etc.
Do you have any suggestions?
PS: "Installing tar balls is known to make grown men cry occasionally." I was afraid of that!

Was able to install via Debian - the ppa option didn't work - through Sudo apt-get command.

Excellent. Applications in the official repo's are almost always preferable.gzepplin wrote: ⤴Sat Aug 24, 2019 7:41 am Found gcstar:
