Greetings from Germany - Finally made the switch

Post by Gibdos »

Hello my fellow Linux Mint users,

after having dabbled with Linux since the first Ubuntu releases, I finally made the complete switch to Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon from Windows 10.
And I have to say, I am still speechless how great everything works. Even World of Warcraft works perfect. In fact, my GPU runs cooler than on Windows

Anyway, I've been using Mint exclusively for about a week now and I've learned more about Linux in this week than in the last ten years combined. And I am enjoying every minute of it so far. And even if I should run into any problems, I am safe in the knowledge that I can come to this nice and friendly forum to get help.

Thank you Linux Mint for being such a great and stable OS and thank you dear forum people for being such a friendly and helpful bunch!

I just jumped off the Windows 10 train of horror and I am loving Linux Mint. It's so fun and powerful to use. I love everything about it. Thunderbird works great with Office 365/Exchange Server and the search functions are just amazing. I even love the new beta version of Libre Office!

Linux Mint has come a long way and it's so much better than Windows. There is no way I am going back to Windows!
