Sin audio por HDMI a la TV [SOLUCIONADO]

Hola, en mi caso Mint funciona de maravillas, pero cuando conecto por HDMI mi TV si ve perfecto y no hay audio. Cuando abro pavucontrol en la ficha de reproducción no se muestra HDMI, sino salida de audifonos y altavoces. Entonces no quiero conectar por audifonos para poder escuchar.

He buscado en la web, pero no encuentro las respuestas adecuadas y para no estar instalando o haciendo cosas innecesarias a mí sistema que funciona muy bien.

Es muy extraño que te suceda eso. A mi me ocurre al revés, por así decirlo. Cuando conecto el HDMI y no cambio el dispositivo de salida antes de desconectarlo, el sistema sigue creyendo que el HDMI está conectado y no me deja usar los altavoces o los audífonos.
¿Has probado ingresar al menú de sonido y ver si aparece la entrada de HDMI? A veces cuando no aparece en pavucontrol, me aparece allí. También deberías verificar que efectivamente funcione el cable.

Hola, resulta que no había problemas con HDMI, sino con el reproductor que no reproducía por ahí (...) Cambié de reproductor y listo. Puedo ver y oir por HDMI sin problemas.

De acuerdo. Si en dado caso se repite algún problema de este tipo, con pavucontrol debería bastar para solucionarlo. Ya que tu consulta ha sido resuelta, me gustaría pedirte que agregues la etiqueta "[SOLUCIONADO]" en el título, por favor.
