I believe i fell into a pool of data eating piranhas:
so i was messing around on jahoo (puke i know but i like to see what they come up with next) and i found it. clicked on a link seemingly innocent enough some story when i notice my adblocker at 1k quite fast me scrolling the page with a few shots of women clothing and shoes. the link that brought me there was a political link which i won't disclose but if you go to jahoo US it's on the guy with the orange hair. so i said could i really make it to 10k?
i slowly scrolled to the bottom of the page which wasn't long then back up. did this about 10 times and came up with 10k. i was going to go to 100k or even a million to see what happens but then i remembers i need to wash my hair

seriously though, this is alarming you can get 10k trackers and adverts in a matter of a few minutes on one page, it's funny but at the same time very scary.

That might be vaguely funny if it were a better Photoshop job, but even then... it seems like it's just saying 'people protesting the climate crisis should just get a job' and I'm not sure how that's meant to be funny. One can agree with it, or disagree with it... but funny? No.

On a related note: Can we have fun without making fun of others with whom we disagree? It should be possible... and I would strongly prefer it. Both as a forum member and as a mod.

(No, we're not getting into a climate crisis debate here. Not the place.)
