D-Link Wireless Router question

Post by rivers79 »

I have a dual boot of Windows and Linux Mint 6, Mint 6 being my main OS.

I have recently got a D-Link wireless router and it cam with an install disk for Windows. My question is, is if I install the Windows drivers on the Windows partition of the hard drive, will I still transmit when I am in Mint?

Thanks,
Colin

You do not need the disk. It contains Windows wireless client noob utilities.

Just follow the small Installer's Guide that was included, you can perform ALL setup/security options through your Web browser. (192.168.0.1)
Make sure you connect through your "Wired" connection to do the Setup.
