Proud today
With one move (technically 2) I uninstalled the hell that was Manjaro for reasons I wont get into now) and gave my allocated 500GB partition to LM.After MX, LM is my 2nd favourite linux distro.
I'm talking about my vital machine and one of the best ways to make money, it too a lot of thought. Oh but that Cinnamon, someone(s) were a genuis making that.
C'mon LM, make an official KDE DE and run the world!

Adding a "k" to "too" helps.

Re: Proud today
Personally I'm fine after that: even though significant downtime would've meant monetary deprivation, poster replaced Manjaro with Linux Mint, and is happy about the result. Well, lovely then, isn't it....

It's great! So far I had installed LM on my laptops, so I made the big step to have it on my daily driver which is also an up to date PC and LM runs butter smooth on it. I'm very happy!

Re: Proud today
So, LinuxMint is your third favorite GNU+Linux distro. What's your second-favorite distro?
freshtamatic's Favorite Distros:
1. MX Linux
2. ??? (first favorite after MX)
3. Linux Mint (second favorite after MX)

Re: Proud today
I obviously mistyped. Linux Mint and MX are my 2 favorite distros, I din't really have a third.

Re: Proud today
I was dual booting MX & Manjaro. I was tired of installing huge amount of updates for Manjaro so I got rid of it.
Now I am using MX only. MX forum is very newbie friendly like this forum.

Shouldn't have been huge unless you were waiting weeks at a time to install updates.linux_rules wrote: ⤴Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:40 am I was dual booting MX & Manjaro. I was tired of installing huge amount of updates for Manjaro so I got rid of it.

I personally didn't enjoy Manjaro myself though I will admit.
I like Arch much better.
