nvidia-graphics-drivers-390 update disrupts laptop screen

It seems to me that this update (version 390.116-0ubuntu0.18.04.3) disrupts my laptop (Lenovo T420s + Mint 19.3) after new start. After this update laptop starts in 640 x 480 screen mode and it will not recognize screen any more. No other graphic selections to use, only this 640 x 480. No closed drivers in use. What has happened ?
