Ive been everywhere man!
I have been active on a lot of forums. I am actually trying to get off of FB. I have too many good friends to stop using that platform entirely. Recently I been trying to become active on the forums like I have before. I am working my way into entrepreneurship specifically in DIY cabinetry and modular sound synthesis. I am an aspiring writer for a book series I hope to publish. Its a blend between American history and Biblical History, but set in a fictional fantasy scifi with anthropomorphic creatures. My fathers IT thinks I would be good at networking and programming. My specialty is in digital electronics on breadboards and basic micro controller programming. As for art I am a traditional mixed media artist. I did my pacifier avatar. Need to do one in color because I have been doing a lot of practice with color pencil.
Basically I am a Christian, babyfur, and tulpamancer. I am a writer, artist, and DIY'r. I find imagination to be very powerful. Its one of the few things that has helped me get through difficult times. My spirituality is also a component to my coping strategies. I am autistic with aspergers syndrome, but most don't notice it until they get to know me. A dead give away is my imaginative coping strategies. I started to use a pacifier as an avatar so people are aware. I use an adult sized one in real life to help stem in a way that is does not interfere with daily tasks. I actually find it amusing when people ask why and how. When it comes to advanced circuitry and my self taught calculus its the one thing keeping me focused. If you can do calculus and build a modular synth system from scratch with out so much as chewing on a pen cap then I would be impressed. I suppose it is a oral fixation, but the act of chewing does nothing for me. I need something to fiddle with and its a lot easier and practical to do it this way.
Other than my coping strategies I do come off as the average geek who is into art, writing, and DIY. IF there are any questions I am not easily offended. As you can imagine I get a lot of crap from time to time. I seriously doubt you could top the worst unintentionally. I also only mention my use of my coping strategies for my autism because that always comes up with my art. I figured that explaining it would be the best way to start an intro.

I have a pen that can write under water. It can write other words as well. "I am a young at heart furry and tulpamancer." Tech knowledge keeps me from losing my sanity.

Yes it is part of New Zealand in the West Island. You'll note I'm in the South Island. There is a North Island and the East Island is called Chatham Island - today's geography lesson..... and welcome to our newest member.

I was hoping that this thread would not cause problems. Like approved and got a basic warm welcome. Was not expecting it to become epic. LOLz
Also just to throw this out there. I use my website as a way to update all the forums I am on. Its in all the forums in my signature. I also am on so many forums that its hard to keep up with the rules for every single forum I am on. To those of you who are admins and mods, please be kind enough to send me a pm if and when I may have broken a rule by mistake. That way I don't make the same mistake twice. Actually sometimes I delete the link to my website by accident when I am changing the joke. This does get me into trouble when the link is removed by a mod or admin and I was not informed as to why or even that it has been removed. For all I know I removed it by accident because I changed the joke in my signature. If you guys can do me the kind favor of letting me know it would help me out a lot.
THANKS again for such a warm welcome!!

Hello! We'll try, but it's not so easy to keep track of users who have asked for specific treatment. On the other hand, we always try to treat everyone fairly, and we don't kick people out for just breaking a rule by mistake. So don't worry too much. If there is a problem, we will generally tell you.
Commercial links in signatures are not allowed. As long as yours is not commercial, then it's fine.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!
Re: Ive been everywhere man!
Cool. I am not asking for special treatment. I just had bad experiences on some forums. I even seen a mod on one forum literally humiliate some one because they broke a rule. Although the mods on that forum broke apart. I will never forget the amusing way I made a friend by first insulting her. Funny story if you ever have the time. Yea, all I am asking is just some sort of feedback because it is hard to keep up with every individual like it is for you to keep up with every individual. I think you knew what I meant though. A lot of people on a forum verse a lot of forums for one person. Yea, my website is not really commercial. Its primarily a blog and tutorial type website for art, writing, and DIY. The words imaginative craft is literally the name of the tutorials. The idea is to create your own craft from many different skills and interest. I am paying for it to try and keep it as ad free as I possibly can.Moem wrote: ⤴Sun Jul 12, 2020 5:18 pmHello! Hi LP2Lily, and welcome to the forum!
I have a suggestion for your website; Put up recent (and not so recent) winning lottery numbers. With that 2023 copyright date, I for one would find it very useful!
