[SOLVED] Manjaro Forums read-only at present .. is it just me?
I don't visit those Forums very often but did just now to look for a solution for my trackpad issue (not working after resume from suspend). Found a clue pointing me in the right direction, but can't even bookmark the page on-site (my browser bookmark DB is a mess & needs sorting at some point to get that working again).
Is this global? Seems strange but maybe it's down for maintenance; not had that before.

Thanks for that info, mshmm. I don't recall LMF being out for any (significant) time when we had the issue with the ISOs a couple of years or so ago.

Me neither.
Looking at the tweets, it seems that there has been a server hardware failure, but things are not always straightforward with Manjaro...
Re: Manjaro Forums read-only at present .. is it just me?
Thought I'd better mention (belatedly) that they have set up a new Forum using the old URL. Old Forum accessible via http://archived.forum.manjaro.org/

if you take a peak purely out of interest at either the new or archived sites, remember to clean the service worker(s) from your browser afterwards.

I had that problem, and it was resolved like this.

sorry guys,

I was posting relating to
which the post I referenced fixed my same issue.look for a solution for my trackpad issue (not working after resume from suspend)
Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon
Re: Manjaro Forums read-only at present .. is it just me?
That seems to be an unrelated issue to me but absolutely no need to apologize. I didn't spot the connection as it's worded so differently to what I was initially looking for, which seems to be a historic issue with KDE anyway on these Lenovos.
In this case, this fix on my specific machine seems to have been 100% successful, so hopefully it might help users of other DEs on the same hardware.
I think the "trackpad issue" thread (and my supposed "solution" which has seemingly worked 100% for me, and for others with an additional step or two) was one of my first posts on the new Manjaro Forums. It was just a FYI.
No worries! It's sorted so all is good. Now I've sorted the initial hurdles with their re-incarnated Forum I'll probably be spending most of my time back on here, as usual.
