Hmmm, 2 years later, and You saved me.
Accidently upgraded microcode to the newest version and my Mint 20 didn't boot up.

Thanks to You, was able to downgrade and lock package again.

The same issue now on Linux Mint 20. Do we have any news when it will be fixed?.

I advise to make a Timeshift snapshot before applying any microcode updates. You can always restore a snapshot by booting from the Mint DVD / USB thumb drive.

Thanks for response. But what to do with it? or we should always put microcode updates into blacklist?
In case again black screen after update what is the best way (steps) for rollback?

It is a pity -> viewtopic.php?f=49&t=339625. New mint 20.1 have updated microcode package so black screen and no way to go with latest Mint 20.1?
