See if secure boot is on in UEFI/BIOS. If so, turn it off.

Try reloading the driver:

Code: Select all

 sudo modprobe -r ath9k && sudo modprobe ath9k
If that's no help, maybe get a usb wifi adapter like Panda that works out of the box.

Response to this:

modprobe: FATAL: Module @@ not found.

And than:
No more Wlan at all.

Do:

Code: Select all

 sudo ifconfig wlp3s0 up
Then, let's see if you still have a driver:

Code: Select all

lspci -nnk | grep -iA3 net

See which kernel you have now:

Code: Select all

 uname -r
If you're still on 19.3, you should have 4.15.0-117 kernel. If not, get that kernel & see if wifi works then.
ciesel 2_4

Re: WIFI is connected but no internet

Post by ciesel 2_4 »

There was kernel: 5.4.0-42-generic
I have changed, but there was only 4.15.0-112, without sucess.
I have tryed a free wlan telekom, but than no more wlan and the information:
Wlan not available 802.1x-Supplicant failed

Maybe something has changed. Let's see your system details again:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxxxz && rfkill list && mokutil --sb-state
ciesel 2_4

Now with Ulyana and D-Link USB Adapter

Code: Select all

To run a command as administrator (user "root"), use "sudo <command>".
See "man sudo_root" for details.

I don't see any changes, so just stay with the usb adapter which seems to works for you.
