Hi from the UK!
Hi all,
Bit of background here, I am a web host and designer by trade, so in regard to web-hosting, I can deploy and install the right software stack for a LAMP/LEMP web server.
As I design, I am a heavy user of WordPress for myself and my clients, my two servers at home, one is my personal media server, again deployed the right software stack for my needs which distributes media to four Kodi instances in my flat, whereas the other is a hyper-v server running an Ubuntu file server, which backs up to other drives via Rsync, as well as a development web server.
I have been using Linux for the past decade now, but this is only the second(!) FOSS forum I've joined! The other being the Kodi forum. I hope I have fulfilled my FOSS credentials here
It has taken this long (and a pandemic LOL) to actually get a Linux desktop setup on my main PC, although one of my laptops is running Ubuntu...

Welcome, I'm resisting the temptation to quote Brick Tamland from Anchorman but it's a struggle
I’ll tell you a DNS joke but be advised, it could take up to 24 hours for everyone to get it.

Re: Hi from the UK!
I have just spent today getting rid of Windows on my Work PC, as I'm self employed and a company of one, I have to look at the purse strings and cut back on my M$ licencing. It does however mean that my WHOLE network at home/work (both the same place HAHAHA) is now completly Free and Open Source!
Only took a pandemic to do it thoough LOL
