If you cannot boot or install Linux Mint because your hardware is too recent and is not properly detected try using the Edge ISO image. The Linux Mint User Guide explains and where to find it: https://linuxmint-user-guide.readthedoc ... /edge.html
The Edge ISO isn't recommended unless you really need it. Try the with the regular ISO first, try to get help with boot issues in this forum and only when you can't get Linux Mint to boot on your hardware do we suggest to use the Edge ISO.
