Small suggestion for when XFCE 4.16 is integrated with Mint

Post by Green man »

Hello. I'm a huge fan of the XFCE edition of Linux Mint. Thank you for continuing to support this version! I've been doing some testing in a virtual machine where I've manually upgraded Linux mint 20.1 XFCE to the 4.16 desktop. The current way I am testing this, through the, XubuntuDev/staging PPA, allows for the install of

Code: Select all

libxfce4ui-nocsd
which decreases the prevalence of the newly implemented client-side decorations. It would be great if Linux mint could work with this project: https://github.com/Xfce-Classic/libxfce4ui-nocsd so that a similar package would be natively available in the Linux Mint repo when XFCE 4.16 is officially implemented in Mint. Thank you for considering my suggestion.
