Tool
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear smart until you hear what they are saying.

Approachable.

Because it's easy to use and comes with tons of stuff out-of-the-box, making it ideal for newbies and people not wanting to faff about setting things up.
I use Linux Mint 18.3 with Cinnamon in a VirtualBox VM for testing & sandboxing.

Solid.

But one word is not nearly enough. So here are two, calling out its proprietary counterparts: NO BS.

When a mathematician shows another mathematician a simple, correct, accurate solution to a very complex problem he'll exclaim:

"Beautiful!"

Whether you're an engineer, an advanced programmer, a scientist, or an artist - when something does what it's supposed to do so perfectly and without reams of fluff or flash - there is no other more appropriate word.

It's a reference from "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". 42 is the answer to everything.
