Elementary like menu
In cinnamon we have Cinnamenu applet which like default menu applet but more customizable. But i want something that looks like elementary os's menu, like we can show limited no. of softwares, a button to list all softwares, and Horizontal Scrolling. Can we configure Cinnamenu like that or there is any other menu applet similar to that(I was unable to find one).

Re: Elementary like menu
Hi,
As you said Cinnamenu can be a (partial) solution.
To change an applet settings go to Settings-> Applets-> Cinnamenu (in this case)-> settings icon.
Don't be afraid to play with each option until you are satisfied.
If you liked the GNOME part of Elementary- you can install gnome-session and choose it instead of cinnamon (possible guide), but this action may complicate things so make sure you know what you are doing...
By the way, if you also want a dock with some frequently used apps(like Elementary), you can use something like plank.
Goodluck!
