firefox problem

Post by mickeymegabyte65 »

Hello All,
I am a new member and would like to ask a question.

when I try the BBC website in LDME - Debbie on firefox it comes up for a few seconds and goes blank.

Chromium works though.

I am using a 2012 macbook pro which I interchange linux versions on usb...Love the Debian well otherwise.

thanks for any help.

Do you have any extensions or add-ons installed? I just tried Firefox in my LMDE 4 virtual machine and the BBC site showed up without any problems.
I'm also Terminalforlife on GitHub.

Exit firefox, then try this in a terminal:

Code: Select all

firefox -safe-mode
Edit: I'm not sure that still works...try it anyway.
