The 2021 redesign is based on a WordPress theme called Wizixo. That theme is for agencies, and I saw it, the redesign was just changing text from the sample. Why not let the community make the website if the developers can't? BTW I've got the original HTML, I can hand it to you on request... but it requires Jekyll.
And yes, I'm obsessed with Material Design, it also uses the material logo I made in my signature.
