[SOLVED] Linux mint 21.1 from v21 and now no updates? Is normal?

Good day,
I updated Linux Mint (following your simple guide) to version 21.1 form v21.. since then 1 week has passed and when I check if updates are available it tells me that everything is ok and there is nothing to update..
Is it normal that now there is nothing to update because I have to wait because of holidays, or do I have to manually update some list for the 21.1 updates?

I've had no updates from the Linux Mint team in that period, had some flatpak updates though.

It's Christmas and New Year so I'm sure they're having a well deserved break.

I have had a few updates, but they were all for Applications:

not the OS itself

Telegram and Vivaldi updated yesterday

I've never gotten a lot of Linux updates over the Xmas holidays.

It's easy to forget that there are people behind these updates, and these people sometimes take breaks.

I suppose it would make sense for things to slow down for Xmas. That being said, I am still surprised you didn't get any updates for a week, particularly on a traditional Linux installation. If you're still concerned, you could try to verify the package database updating procedure is working correctly, with:

sudo apt-get update

If you see no errors and everything appears to be working as intended, then I would conclude it's just a dry spell.

TYVM for all, now i knot that pheraps is all ok, ALL SOLVED.
My update is always with Terminal because the update gui don't work always ok, so i:
- sudo apt update (no get because after i need to delete much MB o GB for the updates files copy)
- look the update info with the gui
- sudo apt upgrade (and or others commands for full update)
