Still sorting out Transparent background GTK Themes in Mint 21.1 Xfce.
Sometimes colours can be hard to read against Wallpapers like this one. Appearance > Style takes a while to scroll through all the Mint-X and Mint-Y options until I get to what I want.
So I did a quick bash script so I can quickly change the Text to a contrasting colour, or to a style that does away with Transparency, but still looks decent on my GTK stuff like Firefox, LibreOffice and Thunar. The GUI doesn't close until I click the Quit button, so I can immediately swap to a suitable theme just for work in one App, then back again.

Wallpaper is from NASA's Jimmy Webb telescope.

This is a rehash of something I was messing with in Mint 19 or 20. There's way 'Two Much Green' for the Conky to work, or for the Transparent Thunar File Manager to be any use, But it was fun seeing how far I could push the 'greenness' of a Mint themed wallpaper.

This post is just to test the new Image Upload (via imgBB) button.

Image

It was painless and seems to work well.
The advantage to Forum 'posters' is that it is a lot simpler than opening an Imgur (or similar) account, then dragging an image in, adding a title etc, and then submitting it as a post.
The only disadvantage I see for the moment is the less intuitive layout of imgBB website, but that's probably because I haven't used it before.
The immediate advantage for Mint Forum 'viewers' though is the easy access to the full resolution image once the imgBB site opens.

Now, I'd better go complete the Poll . .

Mint 21.1 Xfce Theming
Azenis-RAD - almost finished modifying the Azenis theme with my 'green bits' to match the rest of the Desktop.

Almost there with my Green GTK Theme mods. The last hurdle (I hope) was making the highlight in the Menu a decent Green.
I finally got the css changed in most of the GTK stuff, but I managed to have the green highlight when I select an item in the Mint Menu, far too bright. So the White text doesn't stand out quite enough. I wanted everything to almost match the Conky Greens so there's still a bit to do - but it is getting close.

Back to the good ol' version of Cinnamon where everything simply works (including the flipping cuz no flipping = no VSync in games)! It took me a while to figure it out how to downgrade it on Arch but I finally did it, so now all the cinnamon packages are "frozen in time", a.k.a added to the ignorepkg of pacman.conf.
