[SOLVED] Why does Audacious not display an icon in the notification area ?

Hello,
I like Audacious but it does not display an icon in the notification area. Sayonara nevertheless appears to him. A notification icon is essential to make Audacious reappear when playing in the background. Otherwise I have to go back to the start menu. It's boring.

In its options, however, it offers to display an icon in the notification area during its activity. And the option is checked.
So why isn't it showing up ? Is there a manipulation possible to force its presence in the notification bar ?

Go to Settings / Advanced / General and check the Status Icon box.

You may need to restart the program or even try logging in and out of Mint.

I rebooted. And of course I checked the icon status box.
But nothing appears. And my interface looks different from yours, @spamegg.

I switched the interface from GTK (legacy) to Qt in Audacious settings (sorry forgot to mention).

Is your environment Cinnamon ?

OK, I found it.
I had disabled the icons in the notification area in the Sound applet.
Reactivated, it's good!
