I inadvertently deleted a user and all their files and I am trying to recover the files using R-Linux. I have a separate /home drive from /root drive and I have scanned the home directory and identified the deleted files.
My problem is that I want to save the recovered files to an external HDD but when I go to "select a destination folder, " the HDD is not listed only the /root SSD.
R-Linux sees the external drive as one of the options to scan but not to save to. Is there a way I can get this to work?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Using R-Linux for For File Recovery
One way is to recover to /root then move the recovered files to external drive.
