Welcome to the forum, jiytu.

Tips for Troubleshooting Graphics Issues (including external monitors not working) which is pinned to the top of the Graphics Cards & Monitors forum explains the drivers for AMD are in the kernel. One does not separately load AMD graphic drivers.

Your system needs a newer kernel. The newer kernel will have the necessary drivers. You can install the latest 6.1-oem kernel with

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install linux-oem-22.04c
and reboot. See if that addresses the issue.

Please also make sure you have run all the updates in Update Manager. Your system may also need newer linux-firmware packages.

It doesn't make sense to make random adjustments for brightness until we verify the proper graphics drivers are in place. I don't see where you did that. As I indicated in my post, there was no guarantee a newer kernel would be enough to get the driver to load. Please undo the changes you made from the website link and provide the output of

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxxxrz
and we can check to see if the driver did load.

The data you just posted indicates the newer kernel is not being used. You still have the same kernel as when you originally posted which means there is no graphics driver loaded.

System:
Kernel: 5.15.0-67-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 11.3.0
Desktop: Cinnamon 5.6.8 tk: GTK 3.24.33 wm: muffin vt: 7 dm: LightDM 1.30.0
Distro: Linux Mint 21.1 Vera base: Ubuntu 22.04 jammy

Please make sure to remove anything you used from these repositories and also remove the repositories. They will not work with the OEM kernels.

If you only have Linux Mint installed, then I have no guesses as to why your kernel did not change, but the fact it did not change is a problem. What is the output of

Code: Select all

uname -r
jiytu wrote: Sun Mar 26, 2023 3:01 pm Uhm I don't know how would I do like removing anything I used from these repositories.
Your original inxi output seems to indicate nothing was used from them, but I don't know why your kernel would not update and was just taking guesses as to what might be a problem.

You did not install grub-customizer, did you?
