I'm hoping this is the right place to post my question. If not please let me know where it would be better posted.
Scenario:
Installed:
- HOST OS Linux Mint v20.3
- VMWARE workstation player v17
- GUEST OS in vmware Linux Mint v21
When starting a VM with LM v21 goes into 'emergency mode' and nothing is working anymore, I not even can shuit down the vm to restart.
When I'm starting in the HOST OS a VM with LM v20.3 - everything is fine.
Even when I'm starting LM v 21 outside the VMWARE (form a spearate partition, I receive the same message about the 'emergency mode.
I'm assuming that there is some 'incompatibility' between the BIOS setting and LM v21.
I'll attach a screenshot form the 'emergency mode' messages.
I'm hoping someone knows a little bt about as I do and can provide some suggestions.
