Opening applications on the selected desktop
Will there be a feature to open applications on the selected desktop? Currently there is no such functionality?

Hello b2smile welcome to the Forum.
Mint developers don't use these forums much. You can try talking to them on Github. You can make a feature request here: https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon/issues

Re: Opening applications on the selected desktop
In principle such things can be done with devilspie, but I did not use it since years and so I cannot tell you, if it works with current versions of Ubuntu / Mint.
Some applications do this out of their own. E.g. Firefox; you can even set several FF windows on different workspaces and at the next FF the windows get opened on the same workspace.
