No irq handler for vector?

I get a message during bootup

0.0045941 _common_interrupt: 1.55 No irq handler for vector?
0.0045941 _common_interrupt: 2.55 No irq handler for vector
0.0045941 _common_interrupt: 3.55 No irq handler for vector

it doesnt appear to affect anything adversley and startup is the only time I see this.

Is it anything to worry about?

I'm getting the 1.55 version of the message displayed during boot.

Anyone find any info as to how to get rid of this ?

As you have not supplied any info about the system you are using it is hard to tell you what to do. But using Google there are solves there if you tried it yourself.

The only way I have been able to find to suppress the display of this error message during boot is to specify a loglevel of 0 (ZERO) in the grub file.

Probably only other way would be to WAIT for HP/Compaq to fix this in a new BIOS version for their no longer produced HP/Conpaq Presario CQ57 439WM notebook computer, and I sure ain't going to hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

And probably time for a new puter, but since she ain't mine, that is not going to happen !!!
