Recently failing to suspend

Post by jean.jordaan »

Suspend has been working flawlessly since day one, for about 3 years, but now suddenly the ThinkPad is frying itself in the backpack again. Anyone else run into something like this?

From the dmesg output, it looks like there's something fishy with the sound device: `sof-audio-pci-intel-cnl 0000:00:1f.3: error: failed to power down DSP during suspend -110`

Suspend seems to work after a cold reboot, but stops working after a while.
