[SOLVED] Mint 20.3 to 21 Upgrade Failed Error 100

[SOLVED] Tried to upgrade from 20.3 and got Error Code 100. This happened 3 times before I gave up. Can anyone please provide simple pointers for a simple user?

You will need to post your full output so we can see what this error is. There is no one thing called "Error Code 100" which is the same for all programs. Errors are program specific so not only is it important to see the error listed in context, but we also need to see if that is the first error in the output. Sometimes earlier errors cause later errors to happen so just listing the last line you see may not help solving the problem.

I noticed the google Earth problem so I deleted that and it moved on and stalled here:

I'm not sure. Is your prior one from the same day?
There is a way in the menu to skip the check for a snapshot.

Actually my prior is from a couple of days ago so I guess I may need to do an update and start the process again? That's where I'll start tomorrow and see how far I get.

Found some time today to update the Timeshift and rerun the install. It tgook a while but it is now up and running with only a few problems. Touch pad "tap" was turned off. Gnote was broken so had to update it. Seamonkey also had to be reinstalled to get access to all my stuff therein.
