Password for login no longer matches keyring?
Couldn't access a new website and tech support said FF was an issue for Linux users and the work around was to use Brave. I downloaded Brave from the software mgr and the package was acting weird so I tried to remove it. I for the 1st time got the message that "The password you use for login no longer matches your keyring." I restarted and can login to Linux but can't remove or install any other package. Never used Brave before and did notice that the site for the download said it wasn't affiliated with Brave, not sure if that was for legal or if it's a bad download link on software mgr?

Re: Password for login no longer matches keyring?
To my knowledge if you put a password on your browser's built in password manager, it will activate
Password and Keys / Keyring / Seahorse
to ask you what login / unlocking password to put. If you did not put anything, then pressing enter when password challenge is activated will be accepted, else you must type whatever password you input during the said set up. Sometimes your sudo
password is also use, this is the typical case with Brave's chrome Safe Storage Control
