Hardware:
- hp prodesk 405 g4
- ryzen 5 2400ge
- unknown RAM (can't check because there is a warranty seal on the mini PC)
Issue:
- Linux Mint bootable USB will not go past the grub menu unless I pick compatibility mode
- Installed Linux Mint will not go past grub unless I put nomodeset in the kernel settings
Other notes:
- UEFI options are limited and have no options directly related to graphics
- Secure Boot is off
EDIT: The Displayport to HDMI adapter I was using turned out to be the problem. I got a better one and no more display problems.
