Install on new Dell inspiron, best BIOS settings?

Mint install on late 2022 Dell laptop, what are the required BIOS setting recommendations?

Notes:
- install to go a virgin Me drive, Windows not present.
- a test Mint XFCE live boot USB worked fine, after selecting it as boot volume (on Windows restart, I was asked for my security key, Bitlocker/encryption issue, which I had to go fetch in my MS account )

I want to make sure that post-install, I do not run into the system or BIOS ignoring Mint, because of a trailing Windows-specific setting.

Did it, it went well, but didn't expect to have to create password for Secure Boot on first restart.

Rolled over into 21.1 Vera this morning.

Worst thing that can happen if SB is on?
My OP from mid March above was trying to get to the best recommendation(s), as my prior Install experience is only with ancient boxes, no fancy anything!

Some device drivers won't load if not signed = nvidia and some wifi drivers.
