Only doable, if the source code for Nemo would allow this. I doubt, that this will ever be done.

One needs to read the TEXT not the icon. It makes no sense to increase the icon size and make the row height extremely high! This is really bad graphic design.
Is this better designed in any other filemanager?

Ti is not the question, if it makes sense. See here in the forum: If you see the list of threads the icons are more than double the size than the text. Does this make sense?

You will need to change default font size on Menu>Preferences>Appearance>Fonts or increase text scaling factor.
