I am looking for a way to save/restore monitor layouts in Cinnamon 5.6 as I am using multiple monitor setups on my laptop during the day (triple setup in the office, different triple setup at home, dual setup during presentations...) and it is a real pain to reconfigure the layout every time.
P.S. I'd love to include the desklet positions as well

Since Friday June 2 2023 it remembers the monitor layouts all by itself. Not sure which update made the trick but I'm grateful.
