First establish temporary internet connection by other means.

Please generate an overview of your system like this:
- Launch a terminal window (this is how to launch a terminal window);
- Make the terminal window full screen, to avoid chopped lines;
- Copy/paste this command into the terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxpmrz
(if you type: the letter F is a capital letter, and don't omit the space after inxi!)

Press Enter.

Copy/paste the output into your next message.

Do the same with the following four commands:

Code: Select all

rfkill list all

Code: Select all

iwconfig

Code: Select all

lsusb

Code: Select all

lspci

Hello, Ampel01.

Seems to me that you forgot to execute and share the output of inxi -Fxpmrz. Please, execute the command and share its output. Thanks.

Hello,
You will need a temporary internet connection either Ethernet or cellphone. And will need it install the following driver for the Broadcom card.
bcmwl-kerenel-source. you can do that via the terminal with this command.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install bcmwl-kernel-source
then reboot. should be working.

Hello, Ampel01.

Your inxi output is incomplete. The upper parts are missing. The missing sections are System:, Machine:, Battery:, CPU:, Graphics:
This happened, because you executed the command in a terminal window and the output scrolled upwards outside the visible window area.
In such cases, some newer terminal window applications will only copy, what is still visible inside the terminal window, when your press <Ctrl>a - <Ctrl><Shift>c in order to copy the terminal output.

Result:
The shared output is incomplete. We still cannot be sure whether you run LMDE 5 or a different Linux Mint edition. :(

For the future:
When intending to share your Linux Mint System Information, proceed like this instead:
  1. Launch "System Settings" in the Application Menu.
  2. Launch "System Information".
  3. Click on the button labelled "Copy to clipboard".
  4. In the forum editor click on the little icon [</>]. This will insert the needed [ code ] [ /code ] tags.
  5. Paste the clipboard content into your post.
This will insert a complete System Information report into your post. No missing parts. And it will be inserted between the tags, which preserves the right formatting.

I have followed the steps above. Here is as a sample my System Information (which is of course irrelevant with respect to your solved problem.)
