[SOLVED] Some applications don't respect cursor theme.

Post by outofnametochoose »

Hi,

recently i installed a custom cursor that i really liked as it fit the theme that i was going for, everything was going fine except that steam and couple other apps dont respect the theme and instead use the old cursor that i had put. i tried using

Code: Select all

sudo update-alternatives --config x-cursor-themeD
but i dont see the cursor that i chose, even after putting it in the usr/share/icons.
Is there a way to fix this?

Any help is appreciated!

Edit: Fixed, the way i fixed it is to go to usr/share/icons/default, go to index.theme and change Inherits=your_cursor to the cursor you want.
