Uninstalled items remain in applications menu
I have used program uninstall options to delete unwanted items, but they still remain in the applications menu. And so do the uninstall buttons. How do I get rid of these in Mint 19.3 so I can clean up the menu?

What desktop are you using? Mate, Cinnamon or Xfce? They should all be able to handle the problem for you, people just need to know which one you are using to help you as they all let you edit the menu a bit differently.
Re: Uninstalled items remain in applications menu
Sorry, should have posted that. Using Cinnamon.

Just a heads up that support for Mint 19.3 ends very soon (May 31).

Hello, iamphil.
Or were they actually Windows applications, which run under Wine?
Are there names a secret? Or can you share a few such application names?

Karl
The applications, which you uninstalled from inside the application menu, were they genuine Linux applications?

Re: Uninstalled items remain in applications menu
Mostly they were free games from GameTop,com Windows games that were installed in wine. They have been uninstalled in wine and they don't show up there, but the uninstall icon does show up in Applications. There are about 15 so it would be kinda hard to list them. But a couple are Adam Wolfe, Amanda Rose and Jewel Match 2.
