Hello, Linux noob here who wants to switch from Windows to Linux.
I have already created a live USB with Linux Mint. I want to install it on my external 500gb HP SSD. My question is how can I do that? I followed one video https://youtu.be/dausb59wbq0 but for some reason, my bios is not showing my external SSD to boot up or maybe I am not aware of how I can do that.
Also during the installation if I select erase everything which SSD will it pick? my external SSD or Internal SSD? I am too afraid of deleting my Windows boot file and losing all the data.
Sorry if this is a very noob question but I am new to all these and don't want to lose my personal data.
