Firefox popups?

Hi, I would like to ask if anyone else is having the annoying problem of Popups in the Daily Mail? It only happens in the Sports/Football pages. There is no problem with the other parts of the DM, just the Sports section! I have searched and made any alts to the About Config that have been available, but then I realised that these might only be in the non- Linux Firefox, so i thought I would ask here.

As always any help is appreciated.

Fox News is the worst for me,

I use uBlock Origin which blocks most adverts, but News pages use tricks that it can't stop

It is always best when mentioning issues like this to provide an URL that displays the issue.
That way fellow users can try & see if what they are doing stops the problem.

That aside, you might want to try an extension like
Quick Javascript Switcher
as permanently disabling Javascript can really mess up some web sites..

uBlock Origin is an excellent browser extension..

This might help, please navigate to Firefox Settings ---> Privacy and Security ---> Under "Permissions" ---> Check = Block pop-ups window
