Screen flickers oddly and have old screen showing

Is there a way to fix this? Rebooting does not work neither does using a new timeshift or maybe reinstall the OS.

Is that Chrome, Chromium, or Brave you are using as a browser? There is a problem with them right now. Please see the conversation in this topic for some workarounds chromium no longer working.

I am using firefox as it is the default. A few reboots it shows less now but it is so weird it's like two screens on a single monitor that gets overlapt.

Please open the System Reports app and click the System Information tab on the left. Your computer's information should come up in the right pane. Then click the Copy button in the lower right and paste the results into a reply window here so we can see how Linux Mint views your hardware.
