When I connect my iPhone (7), I can't get anything but Brave, Kindle, Numbers and GoProQuick (app on my iPhone) to appear.
I need to access my Photos folder.
I went here:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254759836
But when I
sudo apt-get install libimobiledevice
I get
sudo apt-get install libimobiledevice
So I have no access to my iPhone photos. Ditto with my old iPhone 5.

I gave up on trying this. I just log into my Apple Cloud account and you can download your pictures from there. It easy.

The soln is absurd. Not sure why my distro got it right in the past and somehow messed up just now. iOS update, maybe?
