GoDaddy switched my email accounts to Microsoft365 and now I cannot access them though Evolution (3 days now).
GoDaddy will not help unless using Outlook on Windows or Apple.
I put in the exchange server https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx and set authentication to OAuth2. When I run Evolution, a little browser window pops up and asks for credentials. I enter my email id and pwd and I get:
"Your browser is a bit unusual...
Try disabling ad blockers and other extensions, enabling javascript, using a different web browser or turning off your VPN."
I don't know what browser it is using, though I have made those settings for Chromium.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, one would think Evolution does not use a browser.I don't know what browser it is using, though I have made those settings for Chromium.
Their first tier of help might tell you that, but it's probably not true according to these pages:GoDaddy will not help unless using Outlook on Windows or Apple.

Thanks for the warning about GoDaddy. The reasons not to use them just keep piling up.
I had to leave HostGator last year after using them for 12 years for something similar. Neither HG or me could figure out what the problem was.
Re: Microsoft 365 via GoDaddy and Evolution
I was using (industry standard) IMAP and SMTP before. It stopped working a few days ago. They now tell me that they've gone exclusively to (proprietary) 365 and that none of the IMAP/SMTP stuff will work anymore. If I was using Outlook (and maybe Thunderbird) on MS or Apple, they'd help, but they don't 'support anything on Linux'.
